Our ministry partners Pastor Mario and his church community at Grace Hispana have purchased several hundred backpacks for children in need in our community. Our goal is to reimburse him for as many backpacks as possible. Each backpack with school supplies is $50. Any contribution, whether it's multiple backpacks, or a smaller amount towards a backpack is greatly appreciated!
You have the option at "checkout" to select how many backpacks you would like to sponsor, or fill in a specific amount.
Also needed for this event is grillers! We need people to man the grill, providing a perfectly (or not quite) grilled meal. Signup for grillers is also an option in the "checkout"
Thank you so much for your generosity!

As a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience, Debbie understands the challenges faced by individuals dealing with mental illness, and her co-leader, Gene, brings a personal perspective to the table. Together, they aim to create a safe space for sharing stories, building trust, and providing support and resources for families caring for loved ones with mental health disorders. If you're interested in joining this special group, please reach out to Debbie or Gene after services to discuss logistics. Remember, you're not alone, and vulnerability can lead to healing and the removal of unjust shame and guilt associated with this illness.
We understand that caregiver burnout is a genuine concern, often leading to neglect of one's own well-being. We want to help break the isolation and provide a safe place for open discussions. This group is free of charge and open to anyone with a family member facing a mental health disorder. As space is limited, please let us know as soon as possible if you'd like to participate. Adults only, please. Childcare availability can be discussed further with Debbie or Gene. We're thrilled about this opportunity and hope you'll prayerfully consider joining us in this journey towards healing and support.
