Looking for ‘community’ at Coastal?

This year we are introducing Coastal Communities!  Coastal Communities (CCs) are home groups for individuals and couples. Based on the Sunday sermon and accompanying discussion guide, CCs seek to connect God’s truth we hear on Sundays with the real questions and struggles of our lives the rest of the week.  CCs take the open, conversational format of Sunday ‘Table Talk’ groups into homes across our community.

Coastal Communities opportunities:

• Begin and deepen friendships.

• Wrestle with honest questions raised by the sermon.

• Hear how God is speaking to others through the message.

• Learn new skills in listening to God, Scripture, and one another.

• Pray the good news of Jesus into more and more of our lives.

• Become ‘doers’ - not mere ‘hearers’- of the Word

• Discover our gifts and places to serve and make a difference.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”  (Jesus- Matthew 7:24-25)
